Durham Lover

If you've never been to Durham I would strongly suggest you do, it's right next to a river, full of lovely little coffee shops and restaurants. Although the variety or amount of shops isn't great it does have a Paperchase and Jack Wills - not all bad.
Plus my dad treat me to a cute little lunch - the weather was that nice we actually sat outside the cafe.
This isn't English weather as we know it.

The main reason for going was for a little birthday shopping for moi, my Dad always treats me to some new jewellery from the nicest little shop where the man makes all his own stuff. It's nice to know you're not getting some generic jewellery that you're going to see a million and one people wearing when you step out of the house.
I got the nicest ring set (I hold my hands up I am a total sucker for rings) but have to wait until my birthday to get them - how annoying :(

Since the Jack Will's here is the closest one to me I always have a cheeky little look leaving me wishing I had the bank balance to buy it all. My Dad, being the thrifty person he is found himself a little bargain that actually left me a little jealous. A cricket style jumper reduced to £44 from £98, BUT when he got it too the till it was £29!

Anyway that's enough from this little green eyed monster over here.
With putting myself on a strict spending ban I resisted the temptation and can proudly say I walked out of the shop without buying one thing.
I actually did need to go to Paperchase to get some birthday cards and "accidentally" bought this little notebook, I'm not sure what I'm going to use this for yet but can always use it on holiday to keep a little journal - I've been using this "but I can use it on holiday" excuse for a while now so I'm not sure how long I can keep it up for - but it was only £3 not exactly bank breaking.

How cute?
I swear I have a addiction to buying stationary for no apparent reason.
