I know this is a little late
1. its now February
2. I just got an e-mail letting me know I need to pay for the next one
but hey I'm a busy girl.

This months box was run with the theme "Back to Basics" think of it as a nice little detox for your skin.
I think we all need that after Christmas and New Year.
The box even got a revamp - it's literally a glossy candy pink now.

Yu-Be - Moisturising Skin Cream //
Yep that's those two weird Japanese looking tubes in the bottom left corner. Coincidentally it is actually from Japan packed full with vitamin E, B2, camphor and a "uniquely high glycerin content" and all in that little tube - I know right? I think I was most fascinated to try this one and its going straight in my bag. With it being more of a multi-purpose salve you can use it just about where ever you want to, plus a little goes a long way. I put a little on my face, it sunk in really well leaving no shiny residue or anything. It has a nice mentholy scent to it cue "you're face smells like a foot" Mean Girls moment - but hey if its good enough for Regina George ...

Balance Me - Super Toning Body Wash //
I want to really like this brand I do, but every time i see one of these products in the box my heart sinks a little. They all have very unique scents to them and are all very nice don't get me wrong but I think they're maybe a little to "earthy" for me. Also sadly I haven't noticed any of the toning it promises me on the label.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Floral Slanted Tweezers //
Cute - check.
Floral - Check
Work well - Check, they are so sharp and precise, I'm currently plucking a few strays all to give you a better review of course - not because I'm a month overdue for a brow appointment, no no. I don't think there's much I can say on these, at the end of the day they're a pair of tweezers which come in a little protective sleeve so are great for slipping into your handbag.

Anatomicals - Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake-Up Under Eye Patches //
I love love love this brand and was introduced to them through a previous glossybox I think it was a mist spray? Anyway these are so nicely packaged and all the products have a very imaginative description on the back this one manages to shoehorn in something about vampires and virgin girls. I haven't actually had chance to use these yet but will defiantly be trying them out soon.

Beauty UK - CC Cream //
I think the whole beauty blogging world is pretty much over the whole BB / CC alliteration of letters phase now. I for one certainly am, but will admit I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It's not much of a looker and in my opinion when I first saw it I had very low expectations for it. However the colour was a great match to my skin tone (shade 10 - natural) and was so easy to apply and looked great on. I have ever frustrating combination skin so did find that after about 2 hours it was starting to disappear on my t-zone but still did kept my skin looking fresher. The product itself was a little watery at first and did need a good shake on first use, another thing is it is slightly scented - a kind of sweet smell to it which did put me off a little bit. But all in all I find it works good as a base to my normal foundation and gives my skin a little glow to it.
