Here we go again, as you will notice I seem to be a magnet for samples.
REN T-Zone Balancing Day Fluid // 21GBP REN Ultra Moisture Day Cream // 27GBP
A great higher end product name and cheap enough prices is all it takes to get me hooked, especially when its more easy to come by with Marks and Spencer's launching there new beauty halls I can pick REN products up in my hometown - which is a miracle considering we get nothing here. All that said however and I still don't seem to have found my staple day to day moisturiser yet. As I've mentioned a million times over already I have combination skin, annoying yes but there are so many products out there now that cater for specific skin types which makes picking products a doddle. Or so it seemed. My boyfriend got me the Kit for Combination Skin for my birthday, he even got some free samples with it which is where the Ultra Moisture Day Cream comes in. I couldn't wait to get my little hands on it and try it all out. Now you need a moisturiser that balances everything out, keeps that oil at bay but moisturises those pesky dry bits. I found however that this T-Zone balancing day fluid did the exact opposite. My whole skin seemed to dry out completely. Not a good look. So being the genius I am simply reached for my Ultra Moisture to apply to level things back out. I admit it worked combining these two products and using them on specific areas of my face but it's just far too much hassle to do when it's early morning, still dark outside and you're yet to decide what to wear for work. Gal just don't have the time. So as much as I was to love this. I can't allow myself to buy these.
I'm praying I find my day cream soon.
Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream // 24.50GBP
They produce some of the best looking products and the cutest samples - defiantly on the ball. Surprisingly too this teeny tiny sample lasted me a good two weeks using it on a morning and night. I just cant get enough of this I've already used one pot, two samples, and am now onto my third pot I got with the set "Pretty Porefect" which is an absolute bargain and you should all go and buy right now. Annoyingly I get dry eyelids god only knows how, but this little pot of miracle sorts them right out and lives up to it's claims of being "brightening" too as I do find my dark circles and general eye area looks more fresh.
Benefit Browzings Medium // 23.50GBP
Let me tell you know this product has been well used for almost the past year and a half and is still somewhat going strong - but due to the nature of this post you may of guessed it is on it's way out. It's had a long happy life though. Somehow I have managed to use every last little bit of the pigmented wax leaving me with - lets face it a lot of the powder sitting there, clearly not very good with ratios. I do still use the powder to fill in my brows with the blending end of the brush, but i know in my heart it's just not right using it by itself. Don't get me wrong it's really well pigmented, lasts ages and blends in well so I'm not left with my brows looking too fake. At the end of the day though I am a " benebrow" lover and miss my angled brush loaded with my wax to get a great shape. Sigh looks like I'm going to be parting with some money. Sooner rather than later I hope.
